This sofa is mid century design at its finest. Designed by Paul McCobb for famed modernism manufacturer Directional Furniture, this tuxedo sofa is timelessly chic. Upholstered in a fine Belgian boucle, with a custom biscuit tufted seat cushion, this sofa effortlessly adds a dose of modernism to any environment.
Designed in the 1960's this tuxedo style sofa features oak legs that have wonderful patina and wear consistent with age and use.
We currently have this sofa in the gallery paired with an Edward Wormley for Dunbar pair of chairs, as well as a Milo Baughman coffee table and not only does this sofa make a subtle modern statement; it steals the show! Such a wonderful design by Paul McCobb and oh so comfortable. This sofa would look incredible in any mid century modern, modern, contemporary environment. This design is super versatile and could also flex into a more traditional Hollywood regency, boho chic, Farmhouse or beach house cottage type environment as well.
