Armstrong" lower right corner. Active in New York, Europe and the Far West, Armstrong was an author and illustrator for Scribners and The Century magazines. Armstrong was an important woman book cover designer and with writer J.J. Thornber she completed over 540 illustrations for his various texts. See less
