This is a beautiful piece of watercolor artwork that shows a man and his horse and buggy and also signed by the artist himself. It has amazing history and will be perfect in any home! Original signed colored etching with aquatint by the French artist Ferdinand-Jean Luigini, who studied in Paris under Emile Verhaeren. He began exhibiting his landscapes and architectural renderings in Paris in 1892 at the Salon des Artistes Francais. Within several years his art was regularly shown in London, Brussels, Amsterdam and New York. Ferdinand-Jean Luigini was equally famous for his large color aquatints and for his watercolors.
