The poster is marked at the bottom "York Show Print, PO Box 154, York AL 36925" and is signed and dated to the lower right.
Carl Pope was raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, and earned his Master of Fine Arts degree from Indiana University. He is widely known for his ongoing installation posters, "The Bad Air Smelled of Roses". Pope is devoted to creating art that stimulates individual and collective metamorphosis. less
