Large 1950s Luigi Caccia Dominioni 'LP 10' wall light with Azucena Stamp. An exceptionally rare and beautifully sculptural wall lamp executed in architectural brass and opaline glass, Italy, circa 1958. An incredibly refined and timelessly modern design by one of the Italian icons of the Mid-Century era.
Price is per item. Two lamps available. Retain original manufacturer's stamp in the brass metal backplate.
From its inception, Azucena was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy. Their designs have been long sought after and treasured by collectors worldwide.
Professionally modified for US electrical with new cloth cord, in-line on/off switch and period style wall plug. Accommodates a single 75w equivalent medium base bulb. Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, bends and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. Not UL listed. Some variation between both lamps due to different age, wear and production runs, but they are in comparably good condition and present well as a pair.
