An original watercolor on paper painting by May E. Walter, British artist first half of the 20th century, "Shillingford Bridge - 1935" (near Wallingford, Oxfordshire, England), scene of the Thames River, the Shillingford Bridge to the right, floral gardens to the center and left, white water fowl in the river, 8 3/4" x 13", signed May E. Walter in the lower left corner front, inscribed with title and date on the reverse, CA number 3893, CA purchased in November 2022 from a south of England auction house.
The work has been matted with White Museum board, colored lines inscribed museum backing, Conservation Clear Glass, framed in 1" antiqued silver moulding. less
