Documented to … Read more Beautiful, large vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso glowing Uranium green apple with gray bird Italian art glass sculpture. Documented to designer Livio Seguso, with original label still attached. The clear label reads "Live Seguso Murano Italy" in black letters (it is faded a little). The bird is nicely sculpted, with open wings like it just landed. Believe it to be a hummingbird from its sleek shape. The apple almost glows by itself in normal daylight with such a bright color, but under a black light you can really see how it lights up with in a bright neon green color. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or console table. The piece is solid glass throughout and very heavy. Great item for the collector of Uranium "Vaseline" / UV reactive glass. Would make a nice gift for a teacher. Measures 8 5/8” tall x 6 1/2" long x 4” wide.
