Exquisite Large Bronze Sculpture Jumping Horse with Jockey Statue by A. Bofill
This bronze sculpture is by Spanish sculptor, Antoine Bofill (1894-1953), who lived and worked in France. His work is noted for his attention to detail. Our jockey taking a hedge on his racing steed shows the detail of the old style jockey cap and silks, and the sinew of the horse's effort over a formidable hedge. It measures 16" wide, 8" deep and 17" tall and weighs 32 pounds. This would fit beautifully in a library or along with a collection of racing memorabilia. Signed to base and also a title plaque on the marble base.
This sculpture will be double boxed when shipped.
