A rare brutalist coffee table by Silas Seandel, signed, early 1970s. Featuring intricate torch-cut metal work, this table showcases the artist’s propensity for juxtaposing the tender (in subject - flora) with the hardened (in material - iron). Seandel’s iron flora grow out of a thick base which is rare for his designs. A sculpture. Note the artist’s signature engraved into the table’s base along the edge.
Minor signs of age but overall fabulous condition. Glass is thick and beveled and original to the piece. The table disassembles into two pieces for easier storage and transport. Pick up in LA or worldwide delivery available
