This box is quite substantial and heavy and can be used with or without the stand. The box sits down into a little ledge and can be lifted right out to be used without the stand if you like. Hand painted faux malachite finish and gorgeous lion head hardware. Beautiful emerald and cobalt tassel is stunning with the jewel tone colors. Inside bottom lined with black felt. I love that this box could work fine in either traditional or more modern decor. Endless ideas for this piece ! The height of the box sitting in the stand is 23.5 inches but the box alone is 12 inches high. See less
