Offered are three framed seaweed prints by Henry Bradbury. The print is from Bradbury's 1859 edition of British Seaweed and is a fine example of a nature print, a process popularized and perfected by him in which the actual flora was used to create a type of mold used for printing.
The print is framed under a thick 8-ply conservation grade mat and glazed with UV protective glass to prevent fading.
The frames are custom crafted here in our shop from ambrosia maple with walnut splines and an oil finish.
