It … more This hard-to-find member of the mid-century Lane Acclaim series is known as a "Picture Window Table" (Style No., 900-10). It is a console table with a single two-handled drawer, making it perfect for an entry, a hallway, behind a sofa or under a window. It has the distinctive style of the Acclaim series with a walnut center section surrounded by dovetail inlays and edges made from lighter-toned fruitwood. The ends of the tapered legs are capped with black ferules. This solid wood piece displays the quality for which Lane was renowned. It is stamped inside the drawer with the Lane marking and has a serial number on the underside that dates it to March 1959. It has its original finish that is in very good condition with only a few very light scratches and one circle mark that are relatively inconspicuous. There is a black mark on the front edge that is a natural feature of the wood and a very small chip under one corner of the drawer. There are initials inked on the underside. less
