My family's American heritage is from the South, in this arm of the family, from South Carolina. It was sent to her from her relatives in Wales. It is Wedgwood Florentine Turquoise. My grandmother had ten full sets of bone china. She ran a bridge duplicate for 250 people each Wednesday night and served dinner. But this set was only used for the most special of occasions, her wedding, her two daughters' weddings, also my wedding. It has always been in the family. Wedgwood markings are distinctive for each era, and this set dates at 1878-1900.
