19th Century Second Empire Pine Marble Top Nightstand is a wonderful example of the style, expressed by craftsmen from the outlying regions. A tailored neoclassical architecture dominates the design, with a brace of fluted corbels and pyramidal blocks on the upper plinths as the only adornment. Fine molded detail creates a framework for the spacious cabinet below and the full width drawer above, with a piece of Carrara marble on top for carefree elegance. Featuring a natural finish that amplifies the intrinsic beauty of the old-growth pine, it has been finished on all sides making it a good choice for placement anywhere in any room.
