He graduated art academy of latvia, department of monumental painting (1988) with diploma work “design for transportable circus” under guidance i. Zarins. He was a manager to gallery of art academy (1988 – 1990), manager of gallery “bastejs” (1990 – 1993). Since 1994 he with family lived at australia and learned at technological institute of sydney. R. Lapp took part at exhibitions since 1985. Solo exhibitions: - riga 1991, 1994; - copenhagen 1993; - sydney 1995, 1996. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
