We believe this to be all ceramic with the "tiles" painted, and a white matte glaze base
One 1/4" chip on the rear foot that honestly—we didn't even notice (because it is camouflaged by the design) until it was under bright lights for photography
Some small areas of missing paint and gold gilt, although could be original to design
Discolored scuff marks on the matte white glaze less
