A beautiful French 1925-1935 art deco lamp in nickel on solid brass. The base holds a shade by Degué the famous glass company from Paris directed by David Guéron with its factories in Compiègne. Degue started the firm around 1925 and production stopped in ´36. It finally closed down in 1939.
The lamp and its shade are in excellent condition. It is 39 cm high (15-3/8"). I have replated and patinated the base. The lamp comes newly wired. I placed an American candelabra base socket and US 2-prong plug.
