An rare early 20th-century large size Burmese (now Myanmar) Lacquered Decorative Bowl in exceptional condition. This piece is unique in its unused condition, and it's clear it was purposely made for decorative purpose.
The bowl is exquisitely hand-finished and is clearly unused since produced. The is a part of a large collection of Burmaware in legendary designer Lucia Lawrence's private collection, which is known for their provenance.
This was acquired by Lawrence from a top antique dealer for her own collection. Always paper wrapped and stored in a climate-controlled environment. This bowl is in excellent condition with the lacquer intact, with only slight cracking from age.
