These Amethyst bookends are created from an Amethyst geode. It has a flat cut base and is sliced ??in the middle. Amethyst is a purple type of quartz. The 2 gems are smooth on the front and rough in some spots on the back and top. The stones have natural cracks. The details can be seen in the photos.
