The paint had been gently distressed through generations of use which instills an aged grace to the table. The top was painted a contrasting brown with black trim, now distressed as seen in the scratches, stains, and typical/minor age-related separation of planks which simply adds to the authentic vintage appeal. This side table has been restored and given a wax finish; it is strong, stable, level and ready to be placed and enjoyed.
