Hand carved, this generously sized antique stone temple figure depicts a Hindu mythical animal with elephant head and a leonine body. The head portrays a domestic elephant, complete with trimmed tusks. Notice the carved details of his headpiece, and ear coverings. This statue is a great piece of folk art and will make a wonderful accessory in the garden, or home decor.
