1980s Faux Tortoiseshell Desk by Maitland-Smith

Desk is finished on all sides so it looks beautiful anywhere in a room. It features 3 working drawers on 1 side (see main 1st photo) and 3 faux drawers on the other (see photo 3) all with brass drawer pulls.
It has tessellated Tortoiseshell throughout with alternating tessellated black stone. The top is also a black tessellated stone surrounded by tessellated Tortoise with inlaid brass trim separating the 2. The black stone has lighter spots in the stone with varying degrees of coloration. The legs end in brass balls.

Condition
In good, structurally sound, and sturdy condition. There are no chips or other notable damage. The tessellated top has some light scratches which are visible upon close inspection.
