This is a dark and dramatic original oil painting titled "Flash Flood", skillfully painted by Betty Page in the later 1940s to early 1950s.
I don't believe this is the same Betty Page who gained notoriety as a pinup girl but rather a local Washington State artist. It is painted with oil on canvas in a cubist style with heavy impasto technique and a beautiful use of color.
