The urn … more These antique bread plates are in the Trolean pattern by the English ceramic firm W. Ridgeways & Co. The urn and arrow hallmark on the underside of the plates indicate they were made between 1834-54. The plates are decorated in various shades of red and dark pink in the center with females in a landscape with two dear, and with village and mountains in the background. The borders feature sprigs of flowers in full bloom amongst scrolling foliage. All marked on the reverse and with impressed numbers. less
