Hand knotted in wool and cotton, this particular design draws on Islamic Mihrab patterns that play dense borders with open field concepts. Keen eyes will admire a rust tone in the beige, and how it hosts the navy blue, chocolate brown, red, and gold notes so naturally in this time-honored pattern. The Mihrab’s negative space further draws the eye to admire this rug’s archaic charm and its natural play with the texture.
