A wonderful 1925-30 French art deco lamp in wrought iron of excellent quality. The forged base holds a nice colored oversized shade in mottled glass paste produced by Schneider. It is signed with the usual Schneider signature used in this period. The lamp is in excellent condition. It's 33,1 cm high (13,03 inches) and the shade has a diameter of 13,1 cm. That's an uncommon size. Normally Schneider shades are only some 9 cm wide.
The lamp is in excellent condition. The base has a nice deep-brown patina with a subtle egg gloss appearance. It is rewired with new cloth covered twisted cord and is equipped with an American candelabra base socket and US 2-prong plug.
