The entire lamp is in wonderful condition and has only had 1 owner for many many years. The wicker is in extremely good condition. The wiring is also in great condition, however the end plug was added because in order to ship the lamp through the mail it had to be taken apart and the plug had to be removed to do so. It is perfectly fine and in working order. It has been checked by an electrician.

This fun vintage floor lamp is so hard to come by now a days. The lamp features a huge heavy expertly weaved wicker monkey sitting on a perch.
He has iron hands, feet, metal face and actually comes off of the perch.
The monkey has 2 iron rods that slip into the perch so he appears to be floating, with a Greek key designed base and plug in cord..
The center pole breaks down in half. but with the plug end attached it will not come completely apart. Because of this reason I prefer to have it shipped by white glove.
The lamp is topped with a large wicker shade.
It's a sure conversation starter and really a piece of art. less
