Description: Swedish mid 19th century original paint cupboard circa 1850. Striking kitchen cupboard offered in original condition. Made in thick solid … more Swedish mid 19th century original paint cupboard circa 1850. Striking kitchen cupboard offered in original condition. Made in thick solid pine. Original paint has taken on a lovely faded colour, if the piece was waxed/polished it returns to a deep fuller colour. Top surface with a 2 inch deep gallery. Double panelled doors open to reveal a partially fitted interior of 2 drawers with 2 fixed shelves below, hand painted in a contrasting colour. Standing on 4 shaped feet. Please bare in mind that this is a rustic piece of furniture, the drawers don’t have runners they just pull out, the doors have gaps and age splits, the paint is faded, has losses and staining. That said it’s structurally sound and ready for everyday use. Interior with staining to the inside but has been cleaned, minor losses to woodwork. less
