Antique 1930's Cast Iron Borzoi Wolfhound Dog Doorstop - Rare find, in the style of Hubley #327, measuring approximately 11-3/4" in length and 8" tall.
It has a collar with a loop attached where it would have had a chain "leash" attached (chain leash is missing). This cast iron dog is a 2 piece mold held together by a bolt and screw. Many owners painted their doorstops, I don't believe the paint on this dog to be the original paint from manufacturer. Minor loss of paint, minor rust on bottom of feet, but in excellent condition for its age (no breaks or cracks, no repairs that I am aware of). Full body casting, well detailed weighs about 4.5 lbs. less
