This is a pair of vintage brush pots. A Chinese, hand-carved bamboo dry flower vase, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1930.
Superb carved bitong or traditionally decorative brush pots, ideal for dry flower arrangements
Displaying a wonderful aged patina, free from splitting to the bamboo
Skilfully carved with an abundance of detail, the bamboo presents light biscuit hues
The scenes depict workers within a bamboo forest
