Antique Persian Malayer Extra-Long Hallway Runner with Manor House Tudor Style. Ornate with brilliant colors and rectilinear architectural elements, this hand-knotted wool antique Persian Malayer runner beautifully embodies Arts & Craft style. It features an ink blue field composed of a repeating all-over geometric pattern framed with cross motifs and stepped mihrab edges. The richly colored composition is adorned with serrated leaves, animals, human figures of man, birds, boteh motifs, stylized lotus and angular peony flowers, adding depth and interest. A large-scale rose graces each corner spandrel. The inside composition is enclosed with a barber pole stripe. The antique Persian Malayer runner is framed with a leaf and calyx border also known as a wine glass border flanked with an inner and outer carnation vine meandering border. With all the charms of classic style and timeless appeal, this antique Persian runner would be a versatile addition to nearly any space.
Rendered in variegated shades of ruby red, vermilion, brick red, scarlet, crimson, taupe, ecru, tan, beige, ink blue, royal blue, navy blue, orange, brown, and coffee with other accent colors.
