Kirk & Sons of Baltimore, Maryland. It is very rare to find Kirk hollowware that isn’t ornate. During WWII the company shied away from their signature Repousse design and started manufacturing sterling hollowware that was less elaborate and fancy. In keeping with the times and the rationing of goods, the company took a more understated approach towards their home goods. These pieces have the weight that S.Kirk Company is known for but not the intricate patterns so commonly associated with their brand.
