This is amongst the most unique tea sets we have ever laid eyes on! It was commissioned in the 1970's by a clay / pottery artist and the final product does not disappoint. It's the ultimate fantasy, whimsical, hobbit set that includes 6 mugs, 6 saucers, a creamer, and a sugar jar. The handmade clay pieces have a textured and mat brown finish with contrasting high gloss jet black interiors. The bodies have wavy, pinched dimple like areas and the handles are also free form and vine like. The undersides are signed with "X's" and "B's" by the artist. A truly unique set for a coffee or tea lover.
