Chinese porcelain dragon bowl, blue and white glazed exterior, white glazed interior and unglazed base. The inward sloping wide rim is banded by dark blue, stylized dragons swimming amid ocean waves and seaweeds, with an outer band of intertwining, leafy vines within double blue circles, flanking a blue, six-character, Xuande, reign mark. The body of the bowl has two, Chinese, five-clawed, sky dragons chasing Taoist pearls of wisdom amid fluffy stylized clouds. A band of intertwining vines matching the one near the rim is below. The bottom of the vase is encircled by a band of large, Ru Yi lappets. The finely carved, traditional, Chinese, hongmu, circular stand is included. Circa early 20th century, no later than mid century.
