A stunning 1925-1930 French art deco wall light in nickel on cast solid brass or bronze. It holds a shade in frosted moulded-pressed glass in a beautiful salmon or peach colored tone. It's a hard to find model by Muller freres the famous glass factory in Luneville France during the interbellum. The mounting makes a beautiful match with the design of the shade. This mount is the rare extra large version of a model we can see more often (see my other listings for pairs of sconces with the usual size mounts). These mountings were made by A. Richard. A producer of bronze and iron lighting fixtures based 28bis rue Popincourt in Paris. The wall sconce is 29 cm high (11,4") and it projects 24 cm (9,45 inches) from the wall. The wall plate is 10,9 cm wide. The sconce in very good condition. I have re-nickeled and patinated it and it comes rewired. I placed an American candelabra base socket.
