A wonderful 1925-1935 French art deco lamp in wrought iron. The forged base holds a signed nice colored shade in mottled glass produced by Degue. It`s a lamp made by the Paris based company Barbier & Corneloup. This model base is represented in their 1928 catalogue. The lamp is in very good condition. No chips or cracks. The iron has a deep-brown patina and nice egg gloss appearance. The lamp is 34,3 cm high (13-1/2 inches).
It is rewired with new cloth covered twisted cord. I placed an American candelabra base socket and US 2-prong plug.
