A French art deco lamp in wrought iron made around 1925-1930. It holds a beautiful colored dome in mottled double layered glass with pigment inclusions produced by Charles Schneider. It has the usual Schneider signature used around 1926-29.
The lamp is 43,8 cm high (17-1/4 inches) and the shade has a diameter of 15 cm (5,9 inches). It's in excellent condition. The wrought iron base has a nice deep brown almost black patina and an egg gloss appearance.
The lamp is wired with new cloth covered twisted cord and is equipped with an American candelabra base socket and US 2-prong plug.
