Century furniture is one the world’s largest privately owned manufacturer of upper-end residential furniture. It all started in 1947 when Harley Ferguson Shuford established the Century furniture company, which was to be a selling agent for the local upholstery lines. Almost a year later, he built a plant in Hickory, North Carolina and manufactured the first Century furniture dining table and chairs set. To think that all furniture history starts with a single gorgeous piece of design. In 1952, Raymond K Sobota joined the Century furniture company and thus began his almost 40 years long association with Century furniture. With all that legacy, Century furniture is coveted among collectors and regular folk too. Their designs are timeless, functional and add an element of delicate beauty., we reckon that every home requires a touch of Century furniture’s charm.
