This pair of original paintings by equestrian artist, Patricia Borum are indicative of the her trademark style. The oil on canvas black horses are done in an Asian style that are the only works done in his manner, the artist stated when contacted to verify provenance. She said that they were originally sold at a gallery in Truckee near Lake Tahoe and was thrilled that they have stayed together as a pair. Signed on lower right and and signed and dated 2010 on back.
About the Artist
Patricia Borum is an accomplished horsewoman and for the last 35 years a professional equestrian artist. In her studio in Northern California outside of Sacramento, she has created a delightful variety of horse depictions in a variety of mediums: oil paintings, giclee prints, silk equestrian scarves, porcelain dishes and bronze sculpture including monumental outdoor statues and classical fountains. less
