This is a beautiful pair of antique engravings that are professionally framed in blond wood frames with dust covers on the back. They are behind glass but you can clearly see the engraving plate marks. They are ready to hang.
Each piece measures 13.5" x 16"
- engraving titled "L'Autour" engraving is marked "De Seve del." in the left bottom corner and "B. de Bakker Sc." in the bottom right corner
- engraving titled "L'orfraie ou aigle de mer" is marked "De Seve inv. del." in the bottom left corner and "C.F. Fritzsch Sc." in the bottom right.
According to the British Museum of Art, Christian Friedrich Fritzsch (1719-1774) was a German painter, draughtsman, printmaker who was born in Hamburg but migrated to the Netherlands.
