Originally used as a storage vessel, it also looks decorative as a vase. The minimal, simple design is broken out in a playful way by the sprenical glaze.
Imprinting and signs of wear are characterized by the authenticity of this supply vessel.
This glaze technique is traditionally referred to as sprenical glaze is particularly popular in Grottaglie, a small community in the Province of Apulia in Italy.
The sprenical glaze is likely to be owed to an increase or accident. Where exactly it was created remains unclear. However, their origin will probably go back to the Middle Ages.
