Gae Aulenti, pseudonym of Gaetana Emilia Aulenti (1927 - 2012), graduated in architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan in 1953, was an Italian designer and architect, considered one of the best architects of his generation, left an indelible mark in the history of design international, during his long career he has won numerous prizes.
The Zanotta company, founded in 1954, is recognized as one of the major protagonists of the history of Italian design. from the 60s onwards, led by the intuition and extraordinary entrepreneurial capacity of its founder Aurelio Zanotta, he conquered the international scene thanks to his products, emblematic both from the point of view of formal and technological innovation.
