- 19th century oak side table from France. The top has a stacked beveled edge, and follows down to a carved … more 19th century oak side table from France. The top has a stacked beveled edge, and follows down to a carved apron on all four sides, for easy placement in any room. There is a scalloped and hand turned finial decoration on the sides as well. The table is supported on a trestle base, with carved and turned legs, joined by a matching stretcher. The trestle legs end on scrolled feet, which are stunning in detail. The quality of carving on this piece is phenomenal. less
