The Ink well … more This is for an Antique Victorian Brass / bronze lidded Glass Ink Well with Brass Pen holder. The Ink well is decorated with a small Cherub next to the pen holder. This item would be from the late 1800's to early 1900's. It is marked with the Patent Dec 97 (1897). It is in wonderful condition and better then age appropriate. The piece is solid brass with the cherub having more of a copper brass / bronze to the coloring. The lid is hinged and works well and the glass ink well has no chips or cracks. It's a rare and wonderful piece of history that will be an eye catching decoration where ever displayed.
This measures: 2.5 inches tall x 6.5 inches wide x 4.5 inches deep.
