This set of sixteen (16) vintage expressionist lithographs (offset) by Emil Nolde (Denmark/Germany 1867 – 1956) depict a variety of slightly abstracted, colorful images. They were printed in Munich, Germany in 1957. Printed on one side only. Dimensions: Apprx. 4.5" x 7.25". Great for a wall treatment or several smaller groupings.
Emil Nolde (Denmark/Germany 1867 – 1956) was a German-Danish painter and printmaker. He was one of the first Expressionists, a member of Die Brücke, and was one of the first oil painting and watercolor painters of the early 20th century to explore color.
