Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown jade green and gold flecks Italian art glass ribbed with spike corners bowl / cigar ashtray. Documented to designer Ercole Barovier for the the Barovier e Toso company. The technique is similar to that used in the Eugenio series. The piece is very thick, and profusely filled with gold leaf on the inside. The green is made with little dots of color, with some white and little dark specks in it as well. Would make a great display piece on any desk, dresser of coffee table. Use it as a catchall, candy dish or ashtray. Mid-century era. Measures 6" on each side, 8 1/2" across the bowl x 2 3/4" high.
