Bed is in great condition but can use some minor TLC or refurbishment. (See below for specifics.)

Assembles great for a very sturdy night's sleep. Can use with box spring OR if your mattress is thick, can use as platform bed (we've done both!)

NUMBER OF PIECES: headboard, footboard and two side rails = 4. Includes hardware as described below. Includes bag of wicker trim loops (see below).

HARDWARE: Needs 8 long screws. These are included. One screw is stuck in the wood (see photo).

DECORATIVE TRIM: After so many years, a few of the loops fell out due to pillows against the headboard and we collected them in a baggie. At one point, we began process of refurbishing the bed, which involved pulling some loops to create one row on the headboard, instead of two, but stopped half way through refurbishment and decided to sell this bed to go more "modern" with our home decor. SO... we have a baggie of wicker loops which are original ("OEM") parts that go to the bed that you can use to replace the second headboard row back to original condition or use as spare parts if you decide to pull additional loops for a uniform look and only have one row of loops on the headboard. (This will make sense when looking at the photos of the headboard.) No guarantees on loop count -- but a bag of wicker loops is included in the sale, which can be used all over the bed to create a pattern, as you wish.
