Such a pot, called "Bhuma", is always placed on the altar filled with saffron water, with a peacock feather. A head monk pours drops of water out from the pot into a worshiper's hand or head. Such a ritual is a process of giving and receiving blessing. The pot is decorated in traditional Tibetan style which extends to the spout. Handmade. Highly collectible. See less
