These are lovely. This antique pair of ceramic Art Devo style bookends from the 1920s are from a convent and depict a young Novitate. The busts sit on top of a book, representing they are in training. The lines and smooth surfaces design finished in a high gloss glaze is beautiful. The pair appears to have had its green felt replaced and it’s not perfect. We love that character, but would be happy to upgrade the felt for you with white. Just send us a note via Ask the Seller right after you make the purchase.
