This large stoneware tile features a gorgeous Norwegian Brown Bear surrounded by wild blackberries. The Porsgrund Porcelain Factory (abbreviated PP) was founded in 1885 and over the years has produced the designs of many Norwegian artists, including Konrad Galaaen (1923-2004). Galaaen was a Norwegian ceramist and designer who worked for Porsgrunds for 43 years. He was well known for his porcelain mosaics and reliefs. Tile is marked and dated 1971 on back. less
